Iowa High School Basketball - Alburnett can't hold off Louisa-Muscatine
January 10, 2022: Letts, IA 52754 The Louisa-Muscatine Falcons basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Alburnett Pirates to 32 in the Falcons non-league victory on Monday.
The Falcons now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a SEI - North contest on Tuesday, January 11. Louisa-Muscatine will battle a Huskies team coming off a 47-30 league win over Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-5.
Next up, the Pirates play the East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - West bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Alburnett will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 67-49 league win over Central City (Central City, IA).
