January 10, 2022: Menominee, MI 49858 The Coleman Cougars (Coleman, WI) basketball nipped the host Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), 56-52 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Lena (Lena, WI). The Wildcats go into the Marinette & Oconto test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Lena was tipped by Niagara (Niagara, WI), 49-35, in a league test.
The Maroons now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Iron County for a Western Peninsula test on Thursday, January 13. Menominee will encounter a Wykons squad coming off a 61-51 non-league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Wykons record now stands at 0-3.
