Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Punxsutawney crushes Keystone
January 10, 2022: Knox, PA 16232 Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Keystone Panthers (Knox, PA), 54-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Punxsutawney upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Chucks travel to Elk County Catholic (St. Marys, PA) to clash with the Crusaders in a Allegheny Mountain bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Elk County Catholic won 35-28 in their recent non-league bout against DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the North Clarion Wolves (Tionesta, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 12. Keystone will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 48-44 league loss to Union (Rimersburg, PA).
