The Falkner Eagles basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Ashland Blue Devils to 58 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jumpertown for a 1A Region 1 contest on Friday, January 13. Falkner will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 84-32 league loss to Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-13.
