January 10, 2023: College Park, GA 30349 The Banneker Trojans basketball team (College Park, GA), dropped 64-55 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA)
The Wildcats now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warner Robins for a AAAAA Region 2 battle on Friday, January 13. Locust Grove will battle a Demons team coming off a 81-67 league win over Ola (McDonough, GA). The Demons record now stands at 9-4.
The Trojans (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Seminoles come into the AAAAA Region 5 battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Creekside dropped by Jackson (Atlanta, GA), 78-62, in a league battle.
