South Carolina High School Basketball - Palmetto knocked off by Belton-Honea Path
January 10, 2023: Williamston, SC 29697 The Belton-Honea Path Bears basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Palmetto Mustangs to 42 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fountain Inn for a AAA Region 2 contest on Friday, January 13. Belton-Honea Path will battle a Fury team coming off a 66-64 league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Fury record now stands at 8-9.
The Mustangs (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Hurricanes enter the AAA Region 2 contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Wren ran past Southside (Greenville, SC), 77-55, in a league contest.
