Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Voyager Vikings (Durham, NC) and the visiting Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC), saw Voyager's basketball squad hold off Carolina Friends by a tally of 56-52.

With the victory, Voyager improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Vance Charter (Henderson, NC) to confront the Knights in a 1A Conference 11 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Vance Charter won 47-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC)

Next up, the Quakers confront the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Carolina Friends will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 57-47 league loss to Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC).
