Ohio High School Basketball - Centerville overwhelms Springfield
January 10, 2023: Centerville, OH 45459 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Centerville Elks (Centerville, OH) and the visiting Springfield Wildcats (Springfield, OH), saw Centerville's basketball squad wallop Springfield by a tally of 87-43.
With the victory, Centerville improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Elks host St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH) to confront the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. St. Vincent-St. Mary lost 63-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Centerville Elks (Centerville, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
