Ohio High School Basketball - South Point fells Dawson-Bryant
January 10, 2023: Coal Grove, OH 45638 South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH), 54-38 in a league bout.
With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Pointers travel to Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a Ohio Valley bout on Friday, January 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Chesapeake lost 47-31 in their recent league bout against Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH)
Next up, the Hornets clash with the Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) in a Ohio Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. Dawson-Bryant will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 77-71 league loss to Ironton (Ironton, OH).
