Colorado High School Basketball - Sargent nips Dolores
January 10, 2023: Dolores, CO 81323 Sargent Farmers (Monte Vista, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dolores Bears (Dolores, CO), 43-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sargent upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Farmers host Creede (Creede, CO) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Creede lost 81-14 in their recent non-league bout against Mancos (Mancos, CO)
Next up, the Bears play the Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) in a 2A/1A San Juan Basin bout, on Friday, January 13. Dolores will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 56-47 league win over Ridgway (Ridgway, CO).
