The Follett Panthers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Fort Elliott Cougars to 30 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Darrouzett for a 1A Region I District 1 contest on Friday, January 13. Follett will meet a team coming off a 76-51 league loss to McLean (McLean, TX). The record now stands at 0-4.

The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against McLean (McLean, TX). The Tigers enter the 1A Region I District 1 contest with a 7-10 record.
