South Dakota High School Basketball - Gayville-Volin tops Sioux Falls Lutheran
January 10, 2023: Sioux Falls, SD 57108 Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD), 52-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gayville-Volin upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD) to play the Cougars in a B Region 4 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Viborg/Hurley won 51-43 in their recent league bout against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD)
Next up, the play the Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Sioux Falls Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 61-26 non-league loss to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD).
