The Cougars now possess a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grapevine Faith Christian for a TAPPS 5A District 2 battle on Thursday, January 12. Grace Community will confront a Lions team coming off a 96-12 league win over Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep (Dallas, TX). The Lions record now stands at 20-8.
The Eagles (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats come into the 4A Region III District 18 battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Palestine edged Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 50-46, in a non-league battle.
