Missouri High School Basketball - Senath-Hornersville nips Malden
January 10, 2023: Senath, MO 63876 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Senath-Hornersville Lions (Senath, MO) and the visiting Malden Green Wave (Malden, MO), saw Senath-Hornersville's basketball squad hold off Malden by a count of 61-60.
With the victory, Senath-Hornersville upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Portageville (Portageville, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a Bootheel challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
Next up, the Green Wave play the Bloomfield Wildcats (Bloomfield, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Malden will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 71-33 non-league loss to Dexter (Dexter, MO).
