California High School Basketball - Mar Vista crushes Preuss UCSD

Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA), 77-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mar Vista upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA) to play the Raiders in a South Bay bout on Friday, January 13. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 5-13. Southwest SD won 65-58 in their recent league bout against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA)

Next up, the Tritons play the Southern California Yeshiva Hawks (San Diego, CA) in a Patriot bout, on Thursday, January 12. Preuss UCSD will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 37-30 non-league loss to San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA).
