Pleasant Christian Lions (Blountsville, AL) and the host Marshall Christian Academy Stallions (Albertville, AL), saw Mt. Pleasant Christian's basketball squad knock off Marshall Christian Academy by a tally of 48-33.
With the victory, Mt. Pleasant Christian improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lions host East Central HomeSchool (Pinson, AL) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. East Central HomeSchool lost 67-43 in their recent league challenge against Evangel Christian (Alabaster, AL)
Next up, the Stallions play the Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Decatur, AL) in a Alabama Christian - II North challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Marshall Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 55-43 non-league loss to Brooklane Baptist (Hueytown, AL).
