Virginia High School Basketball - Meridian crushes Trinity Christian
January 10, 2023: Fairfax, VA 22030 Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA), 66-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Warren County (Front Royal, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Northwestern bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Warren County lost 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty (Bealeton, VA)
Next up, the Gryphons play the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 68-26 non-league win over Regents (Charlottesville, VA).
