In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored a tight 66-62 triumph over the Placer Hillmen.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley match, on Thursday, January 12. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 5-10 record after their 65-32 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
