Texas High School Basketball - Roscoe tipped by Spur
January 10, 2023: Spur, TX 79370 The Spur Bulldogs basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Roscoe Plowboys to 39 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Motley County for a 1A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 13. Spur will meet a Matadors team coming off a 78-20 non-league loss to Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 1-5.
The Plowboys (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Colorado (Colorado City, TX). The Wolves enter the 2A Region I District 8 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Colorado nudged Slaton (Slaton, TX), 57-39, in a non-league contest.
