Oregon High School Basketball - Western Christian crushes Crosshill Christian
January 10, 2023: Turner, OR 97392 Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Crosshill Christian Eagles (Turner, OR), 50-20 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Western Christian upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Salem Academy (Salem, OR) to play the Crusaders in a 2A Tri-River bout on Thursday, January 12. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 11-0. Salem Academy won 48-22 in their recent league bout against Willamina (Willamina, OR)
Next up, the Eagles play the Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR) in a 1A Casco bout, on Thursday, January 12. Crosshill Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 31-17 non-league loss to Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR).
