The Valley Catholic Valiants basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting De La Salle North Catholic Knights to 46 in the Valiants league victory on Tuesday.
The Valiants now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catlin Gabel for a 3A Lewis & Clark contest on Friday, January 13. Valley Catholic will battle a Eagles team coming off a 44-31 league win over Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
The Knights (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR). The Hawks come into the 3A Lewis & Clark contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Horizon Christian was routed by Oregon Episcopal (Portland, OR), 32-31, in a league contest.
