Maine High School Basketball - Dexter tops Searsport
January 10, 2023: Searsport, ME 04974 Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Searsport Vikings (Searsport, ME), 30-12 in a league bout.
With the victory, Dexter upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME) to play the Eagles in a C North bout on Thursday, January 12. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-6. George Stevens Academy won 32-20 in their recent league bout against Narraguagus (Harrington, ME)
Next up, the Vikings play the North Haven Hawks (North Haven, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Searsport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 36-35 league loss to Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME).
