In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting University Academy Charter Gryphons basketball team scored a tight 59-53 triumph over the Lathrop Mules.

In their next game, the Gryphons meet the Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 13. University Academy Charter will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record.

With the defeat, Lathrop moves to 7-4 on the year. The Mules host Cameron (Cameron, MO) to meet the Dragons in a non-league match on Monday, January 16. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 5-5. Cameron lost 42-36 in their recent non-league match against Lawson (Lawson, MO)
