Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northampton tops Pocono Mountain East
January 10, 2023: Northampton, PA 18067 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA) and the visiting Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA), saw Northampton's basketball squad knock off Pocono Mountain East by a tally of 50-35.
With the victory, Northampton improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Konkrete Kids host Whitehall (Whitehall, PA) to play the Zephyrs in a Eastern Pennsylvania - Skyline challenge on Friday, January 13. The Zephyrs come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Pocono Mountain East will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 51-43 league loss to Freedom (Bethlehem, PA).
