Colorado High School Basketball - Legacy nips Monarch
January 10, 2023: Broomfield, CO 80023 Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO), 40-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Legacy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Loveland (Loveland, CO) to play the Red Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Loveland lost 58-49 in their recent league bout against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO)
Next up, the Coyotes play the Poudre Impalas (Fort Collins, CO) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Monarch will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Impalas come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 58-49 league win over Loveland (Loveland, CO).
