Alabama High School Basketball - Autauga Academy thwarts Macon-East Montgomery Academy

January 10, 2024: Cecil, AL 36013

The Autauga Academy Generals (Prattville, AL) basketball knocked off the host Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL), 43-30 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Generals (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL). The Colts go into the AISA AA Region 1 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Hooper Academy went down by Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL), 50-35, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Valiant Cross Academy for a AISA AAA Region 1 test on Thursday, January 11. Macon-East Montgomery Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 56-55 league loss to Springwood (Lanett, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-4.
