California High School Basketball - Chavez overwhelmed by Poly
January 10, 2024: Sun Valley, CA 91352 The Chavez Eagles basketball team (San Fernando, CA), was overwhelmed 75-25 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA)
The Parrots now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Hollywood for a East Valley battle on Friday, January 12. Poly will battle a Huskies team coming off a 56-44 league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 6-12.
The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons come into the East Valley battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Verdugo Hills trounced Monroe (North Hills, CA), 73-24, in a league battle.
