In Wednesday's league match, the host Dreher Blue Devils basketball team scored a decisive 81-34 triumph over the Swansea Tigers.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 13. Dreher will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to Edisto (Cordova, SC).
