The University Titans basketball team (Orange City, FL), dropped 78-69 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL)

The Pirates now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Matanzas will battle a Christians team coming off a 65-55 non-league win over Tocoi Creek (St. Augustine, FL). The Christians record now stands at 5-8.

The Titans (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against DeLand (DeLand, FL). The Bulldogs come into the 7A District 2 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, DeLand prevailed over Lake Mary (Lake Mary, FL), 61-55, in a league battle.
