California High School Basketball - Rio Mesa holds off Pacifica
January 10, 2024: Oxnard, CA 93036 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA) and the visiting Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA), saw Rio Mesa's basketball squad hold off Pacifica by a tally of 54-50.
With the victory, Rio Mesa improves its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA) to confront the Dons in a Channel challenge on Friday, January 12. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Santa Barbara won 63-59 in their recent league challenge against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA)
