New York High School Basketball - Duanesburg crushes Middleburgh
January 10, 2024: Delanson, NY 12053 Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY), 82-18 in a league bout.
With the win, Duanesburg upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a Section 2 Western bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons won 44-21 in their recent league bout against Galway (Galway, NY)
Next up, the Knights play the Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville Wolves (St. Johnsville, NY) in a Section 2 Western bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Middleburgh will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 47-32 league loss to Northville (Northville, NY).
