Illinois High School Basketball - Woodstock tops Johnsburg
January 10, 2024: Woodstock, IL 60098 Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), 44-35 in a league bout.
With the victory, Woodstock upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks host Harvard (Harvard, IL) to play the Hornets in a Kishwaukee River bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Harvard lost 45-24 in their recent league bout against Plano (Plano, IL)
Next up, the Skyhawks play the Williams Bay Bulldogs (Williams Bay, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Johnsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 65-18 league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, WI).
