Williamsville North Spartans (Williamsville, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), 55-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Williamsville North upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Spartans host Jamestown (Jamestown, NY) to clash with the Red Raiders in a bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-2.
