January 10, 2024: Huntington Park, CA 90255 The Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Sierra Vista Dons (Baldwin Park, CA), 68-38 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Gladiators (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA). The Nighthawks go into the test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Maywood Academy walloped Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA), 54-47, in a non-league test.
The Dons now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Workman for a test on Friday, January 12. Sierra Vista will encounter a Lobos squad coming off a 49-39 league loss to Duarte (Duarte, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 1-13.
