The Brighton Bulldogs were victorious over the visiting Adams City Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 54-40 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO) in a 6A/5A Rocky Mountain outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the outing with a 6-5 record after their 70-55 league loss to Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO).

The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO). The Spartans enter the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Thomas Jefferson ran past Gateway (Aurora, CO), 78-48, in a non-league outing.
