Ohio High School Basketball - Archbishop Wood nips Richmond Heights
January 10, 2025: Richmond Heights, OH 44143 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Archbishop Wood Vikings basketball team scored a close 56-49 win over the Richmond Heights Spartans.
The Vikings (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers come into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Cathedral Prep edged Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA), 54-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Richmond Heights will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Quips come into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 84-24 league win over New Brighton (New Brighton, PA).
