With the victory, H-L-V advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Warriors host Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to meet the Plainsmen in a South Iowa Cedar battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Plainsmen enter the battle with a record of 3-9. Belle Plaine lost 78-39 in their recent league battle against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA)
The Comets now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host GMG for a Iowa Star test on Tuesday, January 14. BCLUW will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 66-40 non-league loss to Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-8.
