In Friday's league contest, the visiting Paris Tigers basketball team scored a close 52-45 triumph over the Casey-Westfield Warriors.

The Tigers (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dieterich (Dieterich, IL). The Movin Maroons go into the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Dieterich nipped Odin/Patoka (Odin, IL), 50-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Marshall Lions (Marshall, IL) in a Little Illini contest, on Friday, January 17. Casey-Westfield will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record.
