The Geneva Panthers basketball squad (Geneva, AL), was nudged 57-56 in Friday's league battle with the host Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL)

With the victory, Dale County advances its record to 8-10 on the year. The Warriors travel to Houston Academy (Dothan, AL) to meet the Raiders in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 7-4. Houston Academy won 93-48 in their recent league battle against Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL)

The Panthers now own a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashford for a 4A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Geneva will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 54-44 league win over Daleville (Daleville, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-10.
