January 10, 2025: Chicago, IL 60624 Providence-St. Mel Knights (Chicago, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Daystar Academy Falcons (Chicago, IL), 67-14 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Providence-St. Mel advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to face the Wolfpack in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Wolfpack enter the match with a record of 14-3. Saint Ignatius College Prep won 63-60 in their recent non-league match against Lemont (Lemont, IL)
The Falcons now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Disney II for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Daystar Academy will face a Titans squad coming off a 56-38 league win over Marine Leadership Academy (Chicago, IL). The Titans record now stands at 3-6.
