California High School Basketball - High Tech Mesa holds off Del Lago Academy
January 10, 2025: San Diego, CA 92111 The High Tech Mesa Thunder basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Del Lago Academy Firebirds to 45 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Friday.
The Thunder now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Gompers Prep Academy for a Summit game on Tuesday, January 14.
With the loss, Del Lago Academy falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Bishop's (La Jolla, CA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Knights go into the game with a record of 11-6. Bishop's lost 47-36 in their recent non-league game against Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA)
