January 10, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70507 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA), observed Lafayette Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Episcopal by a score of 71-50.
The Knights (10-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks come into the non-league challenge with a 14-13 record. In their last challenge, Southside was routed by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 62-61, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Episcopal will attempt to improve on its 12-16 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 21-1 record after their 60-55 non-league win over McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA).
