The Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) basketball crushed the host Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), 83-62 in Friday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Crosby for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Fitch will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-61 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Ledyard falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Colonels host Wheeler (North Stonington, CT) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
