The McCutcheon Mavericks basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Lafayette Central Catholic Knights to 39 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mavericks now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Logansport for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. McCutcheon will play a Berries team coming off a 54-46 league loss to Western (Russiaville, IN). The Berries record now stands at 4-10.
