Maine High School Basketball - Lee Academy overwhelms Searsport
January 10, 2025: Lee, ME 04455 The Lee Academy Pandas basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Searsport Vikings to 42 in the Pandas non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pandas now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Central Aroostook for a D North game on Saturday, January 11. Lee Academy will confront a Panthers team coming off a 67-64 non-league loss to Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Searsport falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Vikings host Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME) to confront the Mariners in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Mariners go into the game with a record of 0-10. Deer Isle-Stonington lost 62-23 in their recent league game against Shead (Eastport, ME)
