California High School Basketball - Coronado holds off Point Loma
January 10, 2025: Coronado, CA 92118 The Coronado Islanders basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Point Loma Pointers to 55 in the Islanders league triumph on Friday.
The Islanders now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Hills for a game on Saturday, January 11. Coronado will confront a Wolf Pack team coming off a 45-17 league win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 13-1.
With the loss, Point Loma falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA) to confront the Rattlers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Rattlers go into the game with a record of 6-4. Canyon Hills lost 44-25 in their recent non-league game against Helix (La Mesa, CA)
