The Lincoln Lynx basketball squad (Council Bluffs, IA), was crushed 71-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE)

With the victory, Bellevue West advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Omaha Central (Omaha, NE) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 5-6.

The Lynx now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sioux City East for a Missouri River battle on Tuesday, January 14. Lincoln will meet a Black Raiders squad coming off a 62-29 non-league win over South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Black Raiders record now stands at 6-3.
