The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) and the host Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI), observed Tri County Area's basketball team edge Chippewa Hills by a score of 52-47.

The Vikings (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Mohawks come into the Central State challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Morley Stanwood edged Lakeview (Lakeview, MI), 31-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Chippewa Hills will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
