January 10, 2025: Warwick, RI 02888 Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), 51-23 in a league match.
With the victory, Pilgrim advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Prout (Wakefield, RI) to face the Crusaders in a Division III match on Tuesday, January 14. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 6-2. Prout won 53-9 in their recent league match against Block Island (New Shoreham, RI)
The Kilties now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davies Career & Tech for a Division III match on Tuesday, January 14. Mt. Pleasant will face a Patriots squad coming off a 48-31 league win over Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.
