January 10, 2025: Sault St. Marie, MI 49783 St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 57-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St.Ignace upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Saints host Rudyard (Rudyard, MI) to face the Bulldogs in a Eastern Upper Peninsula match on Monday, January 13. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-5. Rudyard lost 54-24 in their recent league match against Brimley (Brimley, MI)
The Blue Devils now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gaylord for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14.
